Adam Silver is an actor and producer.
He is currently appearing at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Scotland in Sleeping Giant and 30 Minute Musicals.
He stars in the film Black Hat which premiered this spring at Tribeca Film Festival and was selected as Coups de Coeur at Festival de Cannes. The film is an official selection of The American Pavilion at Cannes, BFI Flare London Film Festival, Tel Aviv LGBT Film Festival, Cinequest Film Festival, Newport Beach Film Festival, OUTshine Film Festival, San Francisco Jewish Film Festival, Washington Jewish Film Festival, San Diego Jewish Film Festival, Rhode Island Film Festival, North Carolina Gay and Lesbian Film Festival, CinemaQ Denver Film Festival, 307 Film Festival and Black Maria Film Festival.
He is known for his extensive theatre work in Los Angeles, in his hometown of Chicago, as well as regionally and internationally. In Los Angeles, he produced and starred in the critically acclaimed, award winning west coast premieres of Ike Holter's Hit the Wall and Exit Strategy.
In addition to theatre and film, he's worked in television: Transparent, Masters of Sex, NCIS, Superstore, The Great Indoors, Community, Torchwood, Wedding Band, Californication.
He founded and runs Sixth Avenue, a Los Angeles-based collective of artists who create theatre, film, art, parties and events.
Adam was born and raised in Chicago, where he received his degree in Cultural Studies from Columbia College.
